At Grace Hills, our mission is to:

Connect with God

Care for One Another

Engage the World

Grow in Christ

Regathering Guidelines for Inside Services - posted July 30th, 2020:

For almost 5 months, Grace Hills has been unable to gather in our sanctuary for worship services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have adapted, joining together as the people of God online and, later, on our front lawn for worship, and continuing to connect with God, care for one another, engage the world, and grow in Christ in many new ways.

This week, we will offer an inside, in-person worship service for the first time since March 15, 2020. We are also offering a simple 9:30 outside worship service, and the 11:00 service will be streamed on our Facebook page for those who want to continue to worship online, but at 11:00 anyone who wishes to worship inside and in-person will have the chance meet in our sanctuary.

However, driven by Jesus' commands to love our neighbor and use our God-given wisdom, we will do so with some significant alterations:

- Face masks will be REQUIRED. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided.

- Social distancing will be REQUIRED. Seating has been rearranged to make this possible. People in the same household can sit together, of course, but if seated with people outside of your household, you will need to maintain a six-foot distance. For our regular seating (in the burgundy chairs), that means keeping four (4) chairs between you. If you happen to be seated in the choir loft, the black chairs have been spaced so that three (3) chairs in between you and the next person equate to 6 feet.

- The only entrance that will be used is the front door to the sanctuary, for both entrance and exit. Other doors are, of course, accessible for emergency use, but we are asking everyone to enter and exit by a single point to limit exposure. If you have to wait to enter, please do so while maintaining a 6 foot social distance outside.

- Hand sanitizer is available and will be offered on entering the sanctuary. Thorough handwashing is also expected by anyone using our bathrooms.

- Due to the social distancing requirements, seating will be limited. We will offer three options for overflow seating, which will have a direct audio feed from the sanctuary.

Even with all of these safety requirements, we are excited to add an in-person indoor option to our worship offerings this week. We can't wait to worship with you, either outside, inside, or online on Sunday!
